Christian studied law at the Universities of Munich and London (LL.M.) specialising in international law and obtained his doctorate with a thesis on (European) environmental law. In 2001 he was admitted to the Munich bar.
Prior to founding Pisani & Partner, he worked for international law firms in Paris, London and Valletta as well as in major domestic law firms in Berlin and Munich. In his various positions, he gained extensive experience in all aspects of German and international commercial law, namely in an international context.
Christian handles a broad range of corporate and litigation matters both at a domestic and international level. He is an experienced negotiator and has drafted contracts for clients from a diversified range of industries. Moreover, he has appeared as expert witness on German law in various fora and drafted respective affidavits on behalf of his clients or was named by the court.
Christian is the co-author of one of the leading commentaries on insurance law and a text book on insurance law. He contributes regularly by-lined articles in his fields of specialization to leading academic and industry journals and is invited to give seminars at professional and academic institutions.
Christian studied English contract law at the University College, London, and Italian law at the Università per Stranieri in Perugia.
Besides his native German, Christian speaks English, French and Italian.
